We were very excited to present at the San Diego Green Building Conference on Friday, October 27, 2023. Serenity Under the Oaks was featured as a case study presentation on alternative building materials.
Panelists included Drew Hubbell (Principal of Hubbell & Hubbell Architects), Ed Earl (Founder of Priority One Projects Management firm), Mykaela Scarpace (Hubbell and Hubbell Architects Associate), and Dr. Joi Lin Blake (Owner of the Serenity Project). The presentation focused on the design concept, sustainable design strategies, and successes and struggles of house construction including receiving permitting for recycled Styrofoam in San Diego County.
